At The Sip, every seasoning blend is crafted with purpose—hand-mixed flavors inspired by the backyard barbecues, catfish fries, and bayou gatherings that defined my Southern upbringing.

Hi, I’m Brian, the founder of The Sip BBQ & Seafood Company.
I grew up in Southern Mississippi with a rod in one hand, a rifle in the other, and a pot of gumbo always simmering on the stove. Cajun and Creole flavors aren’t just recipes to me—they’re a part of who I am.
I was raised on:
• Crawfish boils on the bayou
• Deer camp breakfasts cooked over an open flame
• Family gatherings centered around food, faith, and fellowship
My granddaddy taught me early:
“If the food doesn’t make you close your eyes and say ‘mmm’ on the first bite… you didn’t do it right.”
Those words never left me.
The Sip is my way of honoring the flavors, traditions, and moments that shaped my life. It’s built for folks who love great food, good company, and a place that feels like home.
Opening in Dawsonville, Georgia, The Sip brings bold Gulf Coast flavor to a community that appreciates authenticity—smoked ribs, fresh seafood, homemade sides, and a whole lot of heart.
And if there’s one tradition I’ll always keep alive, it’s a good old-fashioned crawfish boil. We’ll be hosting annual community boils because food tastes better when shared, and memories last longer when made together.
My love for big Southern flavor led me to create The Sip Seasoning Line, crafted to bring out the best in whatever you’re cooking—BBQ, seafood, wild game, vegetables… you name it.
